For two consecutive times (1990-1992) he obtained prizes in improvisation contests of the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
1996
In 1996 he won the First Prize at the “Juan Carlos Paz” Composition Competition for symphonic works from the National Arts Fund of Argentina.
1997
In 1997 he received an Honors Mention in the Martin Miguel de Güemes Prize of the city of Salta.
1999
In 1999 he won the First Prize in the III Edition of the Andrés Gaos Composition Competition, organized by the House of Representatives of the city of La Coruña, Spain.
